The Duchesses of Sussex and Cambridge were out on official business yesterday, and though they attended two completely separate events, it seems like they both got the style memo.
Meghan Markle attended the 91st Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey alongside Prince Harry, and chose sombre colours for the occasion. The Duchess wore a cosy oversized teddy navy coat by Sentaler, with a black belt.
She teamed with knee high boots by Tamara Mellon and a fascinator by Philip Treacey, which included a sober black veil.
Meanwhile, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended the launch of the National Emergencies Trust at St Martin-in-the-Fields. Kate also picked a dark blue colour palette, wearing a belted midi dress by one of her favourite designers, Emilia Wickstead.
She paired the frock with patent pumps and a clutch bag, and also wore Princess Diana’s sapphire earrings, which matched her iconic engagement ring are one of her favourite bits of jewellery.
Although the two royals haven’t been seen together in a while, they are expected to reunite this weekend for Remembrance Sunday.
